International Card Establishment Neos Merchant Solutions Unit to Provide Cashless Event Management System to Queen Mary 'Wine Show Extraordinaire 2007'
November 15, 6:00 am ET
10,000 Visitors Expected to Attend

CAMARILLO, Calif., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Card Establishment, Inc. (I.C.E)(OTC Bulletin Board: ICRD - News) today announced that its gift and rewards unit, Neos Merchant Solutions Inc., has signed an agreement to provide a Cashless Event Management System (CEMS) to Wine Show Extraordinaire 2007, a three day event that will be held at The Exhibit Hall at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, on February 23, 24, 25. The event will feature over 200 renown domestic and international winemakers and winery exhibitors, as well as other exhibitors including: local area restaurants, artists and local artisans.

The Wine Show Extraordinaire 2007 is a celebration of fine wines, gourmet foods and art. Upon entering The Exhibit Hall visitors will find themselves transported back to the grand old days of the ship's nautical prime, regaling in the indulgences of wine and gourmet foods while strolling between artists' exhibits. Visitors will learn about the perfect wine pairings and what makes a dish fit for royalty from and chefs.

General admission is set at $50, and attendees will receive a special gift card to be used for wine and food tastings in addition to being eligible for gift giveaways of items such as restaurant dining vouchers, airline tickets and wine stemware that will be held every 15 minutes during the event. There will also be a special $65 opportunity prize drawing that will include a Jeep Liberty, the latest iPod Video players, and a half-dozen 42" flat screen televisions. Lastly, there will be a $175 Gala dinner and dance party, which will include a Library Wine Auction (an auction of rare and expensive wines). Proceeds from the event will go to the Long Beach Educational Foundation, an organization that supports the local public school system.

Neos Merchant Solutions' CEMS for Wine Show Extraordinaire 2007 -- which can be configured to use any smart card on the market -- will employ R & R Card Systems, Inc.'s breakthrough CDplus Connect Card, which combines the powerful information delivery mechanism of a CD with the proprietary applications of a smart card. This card, powered by Neos Merchants' CEMS will entitle the holder to receive wine pours in exchange for a swipe of the smart card "passport." This results in an extremely rapid transaction, which in turn leads to higher sales as lines are greatly reduced in length.

Neos Merchants Solutions CEMS provides event organizers the ability to enable their customers to purchase goods and services at a venue using stored value cards and payment terminals. The individual transactions are to be performed in an "off-line" environment that reduces overall transaction time and reduces cash management problems.

CEMS provides a "back office" settlement solution and management of card based purchase transactions performed in the vendor Point-of-Sale terminals. The system performs all the tasks required to configure telecommunications support for Vendor Payment Terminals operating the Event application for transaction storage and settlement of Purchase Value.

"Long Beach's Wine Show Extraordinaire 2007 represents our initial entry into the growing festival market and will give us an opportunity to showcase our Cashless Event Management System," said H. Wain Swapp, President, Neos Merchant Solutions. "We expect the use this event as a springboard to a number of other events in the coming months. In addition, demonstrating the value our system to a large number of merchants should enable us to acquire new gift and rewards and credit card processing customers."
